Crane School District

Crane Schools, established in 1899, is a fast growing, progressive district in Yuma County, Arizona. The district is primarily homes and extensive farmland. It covers 44 square miles of southwest Yuma County and serves an estimated population of 30,000.

Crane Schools is committed to providing quality education for over 6,000 students in kindergarten through eighth grade. There are five K-6 schools, one K-3 school, one 4-6 school, and two middle schools in the district.

The District curriculum stresses the basic skills of reading, language arts and mathematics. Special emphasis is given to science and technological skills. The program systematically challenges all students by establishing clear expectations of performance.

Crane Schools operate on a modified year round schedule.

In order to help prepare at-risk youngsters for success in kindergarten, several preschool options are available. To determine whether a four year old child qualifies for one of these programs, please call for further information.
